PROJETO DE EXTENSÃO ‘‘ENSINANDO A SALVAR VIDAS’’: UM RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA NA PANDEMIA

Among the major causes of death in Brazil, there are those that have cardiorespiratory arrest as final outcome. It still represents and remains one biggest health problems worldwide. Estimates indicate about 200,000 cardiopulmonary arrests occur annually half which outside hospital, thus depending on action lay citizens. This article aims to report experiences “Teaching Save Lives” Extention Project, designed train broaden population's knowledge resuscitation practices, through theoretical-practical interventions schools São João del Rei. However, without possibility face-to-face meetings due SARS-CoV-2 virus pandemic, project was called upon rethink its plans methodologies. Understanding importance interventions, distance learning strategies were adopted order maintain objectives project.
